I've been keeping track of my own XP totals... bearing in mind that includes one relationship XP bonus.

I'll take a potion of Cure Light and a Lesser Restoration. The Chain Shirt is an improvement for me, but if there's anyone who can only wear light armor, I'll just buy myself something better in medium armor. The cold iron Wakizashi - Liu's the only one who can use it, right? The ring can be considered party treasure as it will no doubt come in handy sometime. I don't have an objection to Liu carrying it. Kali can also use it.

Treasure as I have been able to determine (some of which needs identifying or apprasing:

Kali and Jorland separately gained xp for Megus' house. Jorland for capturing the ratling and Kali for killing the rats by herself.

Ameiko will give each of you 500 gp for supplies. So just tell me what you think you want to buy and it shouldnt be a problem. If you want to sell anything that you got from the adventure so far just tell me what and I can help you.

Liu, if you want to have Whistling Shrike fixed please tell me... with it as is there is a penalty with it.

Also, tell me if any of you want to run the economics of the caravan or if you want to have that done behind the scenes.

Liu Na may purchase a MW Composite Shortbow (+1 Str bonus) with her 500 gp from Ameiko; the bow should cost 450 gp.

The other stuff you can pay someone to identify, use the wand or have Takeshi do it say he memorized identify this morning. In that case tell me what you want identified and from what encounter so I can find it in the book.

To fix the wakizashi will be 600gp for one days work or if you give the smith two days 400.

Ill speed it up because I don't think Takeshi will mind.

What is our share of the treasure? I might pay a cleric 300 gp for a Masterwork Transformation on my Katana, if such a thing is available. Or just see if I can purchase one outright.

I don't actually have Identify in my book, and it's not actually on the Magus' spell list. But with a spellcraft +8, I could memorize Detect Magic and try to figure the items out every day until I do.

A wand of CLW sounds like a good idea as a purchase for the party.

You should just tell me what you want to sell and then you can do it that way. To upgrade like that it would cost you 250gp. You would need to see Father Zantus in the cathedral.

Liu Na will use 400 gp of the 500 gp from Ameiko to have Whispering Shrike repaired.

If there's enough money left over from the sale of items, she'll purchase a masterwork composite shortbow (+1 Str).

Takeshi will use a portion of the Ameiko 500 to pay for that upgrade at the temple for Masterwork Transformation on his katana. He'll buy a light crossbow (35 gp) and some bolts (1 gp). The remainder can go towards that wand of CLW for the party. Since he'll be at the temple anyhow, maybe he could buy it there.

Okay, Lina takes the MW Chain Shirt. Liu's taking the shuriken and a CLW potion. Anyone want to claim anything else? I'll sell most of the MW and mundane items except the grappling hook.

What about the Cold Iron Wakizashi? MW Ranseur? MW Dagger?

I think Kali'll keep the Ranseur for now.

Can Liu use the poison?

How about the scrolls? Can anyone use those? Are they Arcane or Divine? If Megus was a Witch, the CLW scrolls'd be Arcane. Do you care if Lina or Koya uses them DMEdwin? Can Takeshi add False Life or Water Walk to his spellbook?

How about the fireworks? The Skyrockets can be used as makeshift weapons and are fairly decent at that, but they are worth 50gp each, and the Desnan Candles can be used as signal flares.

DM, what's the value of the jewelry and the chests we found?

Before the value of the jewelry, MW weapons and fireworks, and after a Cure Light wounds is purchased we have:
1284gp and 5cp
That'll be 256gp, 8sp, 1cp each

We also have:
6 Potions of CLW
2 Potions of Cure Moderate Wounds
3 Potions of Lesser Restoration

Kali'll take 1 CLW and 1 CMW if nobody objects.

Also, can Lina pop off some CLW spells during the couple days we have before the caravan departs? Kali is still down 10 hp after resting for 2 days.

The goblin chest is worth 150gp, the hairpin as well and the fan 80. The jewelry from the skeleton chest is worth 560gp. Ameiko took the other chest for sentimental value. Not a bad haul...

That sums up to a grand total of 940 from which I ll let you get 900... businesses gotta make a profit... :)

I think it was just the hairpin and the fan from the Goblin chest and the jewelry from Ameiko's chest. I think I just added it to the list twice.

Lina has no problem healing you during the downtime.

Oh, I didn't realize we had all those potions. Is that 5 left after you and Liu take one? I'll take a CLW potion, maybe two (I seem to get hit alot) then. Neither False Life nor Water Walk are on the magus spell list, unfortunately.

Wow, my campaigns menu NEVER showed any activity from this discussion thread, I just assumed it was never used. Huh.

Anyways, after going over stuff I can't help but feel we are missing stuff, last time I played through this each player had at least 2000 gold to play with but there was probably something more going on that I wasn't told about, I only know the player's perspective of this AP.

Anyways, I am taking the Hairpin as a Gift for Amy, you can take it out of my gold. For Jorland, her affections are more important than treasure and I am willing to sacrafice gear to play that up. If allowed he would also present the fan as a present as I am allowed to dole out a present per level to gain at least two points of affection. Since I am level two, that should mean two gifts and two influences.

Ultimately, to my limited knowledge, when I reach a certain point of love or hate with each character, I get experience points. Again, this is as far as I understand the campaign for I only ever made it as far as Brinewall and have been looking to go furter ever since that game ended.

I am more interested in story than stuff, so I will take the two gifts, I will take what gold is given to me, and either save or spend. Most likely save as the stuff I want is too expensive for me to afford now unless the DM is willing to make a +1 Breastplate and a +1 Heavy steel shield cost under 500gp.......but I doubt it so save it is. Actually, I will buy a Lucine Hammer and a breast plate just to boost my ability a bit more. I'll post tomorrow afternoon.

P.S. I cannot use the Wakazashi yet but next level I plan to dip Ninja. Overall I will take two levels in the class.

Yeah, if you are at 6 or more with your friend or rival you get 400xp. And you get xp for the other NPCs too.

If you sell the fireworks and the other weapons you also get paid.

I followed it very close to the module treasure wise. I did make the encounter especially in the goblin area more difficult and the spider, too.

If you want to present this stuff to Ameiko, feel free but you need to RP it very well. Especially with the fan because of the goblin drawings on the back... :)

The only thing that may be missing was from the Goblin Lt. because she had some pretty good gear.

Also, I had forgotten the last time I had played this, there were only three party members to divide loot among. That makes a HUGE difference.

I will likely purchase a breast plate, masterwork if possible. A Composite Longbow and some arrows, and a Lucrine Hammer. Then I will pick up a light hand axe as well.

That's about all I need. I assume I have a base of 600gp plus the money I had left over from the beginning. Should be enough.

I am sorry for my absense. Had a lot of school projects to take are of and just now started spring break. Plus it began to look as though this game was going no where.

Just letting you all know, tomorrow, I'll be getting on a plane to the US. So there will be a huge gap of time where I will most likely not be online. Also, I'll be in the states for about a week, and I'm sure I'll have internet at various points, but I'll also be moving stuff and visiting friends, so I might not be available quite as much as I have been. Aside from my day in the Beijing Airport I should manage once a day just the same though!
