Holy crap, do we really have four full casters with no light cantrip memorized? facepalm!
Kailun squints into the darkness. "Even I can't see down here. Does anyone have a torch or lantern?"
I never checked memorized spells...that is friggin HILARIOUS if that is true lol
HP 20/20 AC 21, FF 18, T 13, Fort +5, Ref +3, Will +1, CMD 19, Init +2
Since Phred has darkvision, I didn't invest in light sources.

"Sebastus, you got a lantern?"
Oddly, no.
No, at least not one that is usable. I used my last one getting back to the topside.
Male Human Rogue/6 | HP: 27/45 | AC 17, tch 14, FF 17 | Fort +5, Ref +12 (+14 vs traps), Will +6 | Init +11 | Perception +13 (+15 vs traps)
LOL! :-) Shall we head to civilization and pick up some supplies, then?

Someone has to have a torch in their kit somewhere. Check your sheets, Pathfinders!

I asked in another post to prepare new spells for Lini and the DM said it was ok, so now we have light! =P
"Don't worry, my friends. If you wanna some light in your lives, here is Lini to provide it for you!", then she smiled and used her divine power to bring some light in the room.

"Much better," Kailun admits. "My thanks."
He peers out into the darkness, deep in thought. "Which way?" he asks aloud, turning to Sebastus expectantly.

Whew! Thanks, Lini!
I'd like to try to stealth ahead near the edge of the light, if possible. I'll listen intently and look for any dangers around.

Lini, do you want to do the same thing with my Wand of Cure Light Wounds again this scenario? You hold onto it and just let me know how many charges to deduct at the end?

I'll be so glad if you do it, Narad!
Narad moves past Riceak, when he notices a tile on the floor is slightly out of place. He sees that there is an arrow protruding in the side of the wall. It's a trap.
you are in combat, so I am unsure how disable device works?

If you make it-good it is disarmed. If you miss by <5, not disarmed, but not going off, if you miss by 5 or more BOOM. It also takes 2d4 rounds.
Narad, do you wish to spend the 2d4 rounds to disarm it?

Are we in rounds? Would you like me to roll initiative? If so, then I do not wish to attempt to disable device and will simply inform the party verbally. Am I able to perceive the presence of an enemy nearby?

IC As I don't know there is any threat but the trap, I don't understand why you don't deal with it. If we're in combat, I guess we'll find out what it is from the GM soon enough.

Phred the charmer wrote: IC As I don't know there is any threat but the trap, I don't understand why you don't deal with it. If we're in combat, I guess we'll find out what it is from the GM soon enough. The GM said: "you are in combat." in his post above. :-) He did not clarify whether or not my perception check made me aware of the enemy, or just the trap. Hence my follow up questions in my post. If we are in combat, whether or not my character is aware of the danger, we should act in initiative order. Also, disarming a trap takes 2d4 rounds. If we're in combat, I'm not going to be the enemy's punching bag for 2d4 rounds. Happy to deal with the trap later.

-> IC means 'In Character' Phred has no idea we're in combat. I do, but Phred doesn't happen to hear the booming voice of a GM announce that as grid lines magically appear around his feet. Phred is going to respond based on the evidence at hand. All he has been told of is that there is a trap. Nobody has announced any other threats, so while yes I can actually read, Phred doesn't happen to get to able to partake of that.

Thank you for the diversion. The GM gave me the option of disabling the device or not, and I stated my action. It's done. :-)
You can see the enemy towards the back of the hallway north of you. You see the outline of a large figure, but that is it. A gruff, moaning sound can be heard coming from the north, it lumbers forward a few feet than stops.
Presuming nobody trips the trap, the enemy will move up and stop at the "acid pit marker". The acid pit has been tripped before you guys got here, but it stops there ending its turn.
YOU GUYS ARE UP!!

"Hey, Narad our enemy knows where are the traps. If we can't disable that you found, he won't come here, I presume. But, by the otherside, we won't cross the room to seek what we are here to find. Riceak, you see what appears to be a disheveled and worse for wear ogre.
Narad, takes his time to disable the trap. He sees the arrow, and carefully and gently begins to disable the arrow trap.
The ogre will move out of sight, towards the back of the hallway and stop again.

Okay guys - this game is moving a lot slower than the last one. Let's keep this moving. As per the map, there are a pair of statues in front of the ogre, which should provide cover. Let's move in and around it, and take it down!
